(Augusta, MI) Fearless, shameless, exciting…The Barn Theatre School for Advanced Theatre Training presents the sexy and compelling musical BONNIE & CLYDE playing July 3 through July 15!
The musical centers on Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow (played by Barn favorites Melissa Cotton Hunter and Jonnie Carpathios respectively), the ill-fated lovers and outlaws whose story has been infamous since they achieved folk hero status during the Great Depression. Their bold and reckless behavior turns the young lovers’ thrilling adventure into a downward spiral, putting themselves and their loved ones in serious trouble with the law. Forced to stay on the run, the lovers resort to robbery and murder to survive. As the infamous duo’s fame grows bigger, their inevitable end draws nearer. Rounding out the cast are Barn favorites: Samantha Rickard as Blanche Barrow, Patrick Hunter as the Preacher, Andrea Arvanigian as Cumie Barrow, Charlie King as Sheriff, Steven Lee Burright as Henry Barrow, and John Jay Espino as the Judge. Debuting on Broadway in December 2011, BONNIE & CLYDE was nominated for 3 Outer Critics Circle Awards and 5 Drama Desk Awards, both including Best New Musical, as well as two Tony nominations.
Barn Theatre performances for BONNIE & CLYDE are Tuesday – Saturday at 8:00 pm and Sunday at 5:00 pm July 3 through July 15.
The Barn Theatre School is offering an Adult Backstage Xperience for BONNIE & CLYDE – July 5 & July 12! Much like the interactive experience for children, adults will be a treated to a sneak peek into the inner workings of mounting a production at the Barn, a backstage tour, Q & A with stars Melissa Cotton Hunter and Jonnie Carpathios, a catered dinner including wine (or non-alcoholic beverage) and dessert. The Barn Theatre School and Eaton are proud to present an American Sign Language interpreted performance of BONNIE & CLYDE on Wednesday, June 11th.
BONNIE & CLYDE is directed by Brendan Ragotzy. Kasady Kwiatkowska is Choreographer with Matt Shabala as Musical Director. Set design by Samantha Snow. Costumes are designed by Lauren Alexandria. Properties are by Sam Rudy. Lights are designed by Michael McShane, Luke Ragotzy has designed the sound and Crysta Menefee Gsellman is wig/hair master. Michael Wilson Morgan has designed the Coupe Cars. Technical Director is John Dobson.

The Barn Theatre is located on M-96, west of Augusta. Tickets range from $39 – $48 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under for all performances.
