Familiar Faces!

2024 Second-Year Apprentices

Babcock, Emily

Emily Babcock

Emily is so happy to be back at The Barn for her second summer! Last summer she was seen in ANYTHING GOES as Virtue, WIZARD OF OZ in the Ensemble, JIMMY BUFFETT’S ESCAPE TO MARGARITAVILLE in the Ensemble, and NUNSENSE as Sister Mary Leo. She recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UWL) with a BA in Musical Theatre and Dance minor. Some of her favorite shows with UWL included LAST TRAIN TO NIBROC playing the role of May, THE WOLVES as #14, and James in JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH, as well as a company member of the first dance concert presented at UWL. She can't wait to see familiar faces and be back on this historic stage!

Lazan, Kasey

Kasey Lazan

Kasey is thrilled to be returning to the Barn Theatre for her second season. Kasey just graduated from Temple University with a BFA in Musical Theatre, and she is grateful to be pursuing a career doing what she loves. Some of her favorite previous roles include Alex Owens in FLASHDANCE, Margot in LEGALLY BLONDE both at the Barn Theatre in Stuart Florida, and Dance Captain/Featured Ensemble in PIPPIN at Temple University. On our Barn Theatre stage, Kasey played Charity in ANYTHING GOES, Lullaby League and a featured dancer in WIZARD OF OZ, and choreographed and performed in JIMMY BUFFETT’S ESCAPE TO MARGARITAVILLE. She wants to thank her family and friends for always being so supportive!

Snowday, Katie

Katie Snowday

Katie is delighted to return for her second year at The Barn this summer! Katie is a Michigan local from Traverse City with ties to the Kalamazoo area. Last season’s audiences saw her in ANYTHING GOES as Purity, in JIMMY BUFFETT’S ESCAPE TO MARGARITAVILLE as the Female Tourist, in THE WIZARD OF OZ as a Munchkin, and in many notable bar show numbers.  An Interlochen Arts Academy alum and a rising Junior at the University of Michigan, she is earning an Acting BFA with a dance minor at the School of Music Theatre and Dance. Passionate in the arts and education, she is thrilled to return to the Barn Theatre community. She would like to thank her family and friends for their endless support and hopes to make them proud on and off stage.
