What is the Backstage Xperience?
Students get to experience hands-on learning about professional theatre production during the interactive presentations of technical and performance aspects of theatre. They will tour the theatre, including technical design areas that are typically off-limits to the public! Q&A sessions will accompany the demonstrations and their experience in attending the evening’s musical! Backstage Xperience also includes a meal for the children!

“It’s an amazing opportunity to spark students’ creativity and drive their passion for theatre as well as their passion to succeed in life.”
– Producing / Artistic Director, Brendan Ragotzy
“Students will learn the specific technical work that went into the show. They’ll see renderings of costumes, learn choreography for a dance number, and learn about the techniques that went into the construction of the amazing set pieces for the shows, and then see it all come to life on stage.”
– School Dean Penelope Ragotzy
