Our Special Guests

Adrienne Barbeau

Adrienne Barbeau

Adrienne's illustrious career began at the Barn Theatre in 1965, marking the start of her enduring relationship with the theater. She went on to become Broadway's original Rizzo in the musical Grease, and starred as Carol Traynor in the sitcom Maude (1972–1978). Barbeau has since appeared in numerous horror and science fiction films, including The FogEscape from New York, and Swamp Thing. In 1995, she returned to celebrate the Barn's 50th anniversary, performing in Love Letters with fellow Barnie Dick Fuchs.

Lance Barber

Lance Barber

Born in Battle Creek, Michigan, launched his acting career at the Barn Theatre. This early experience laid the foundation for his success, including his current role as George Cooper, Sr. on the TV show Young Sheldon. His breakout role came in 2005 when he played Paulie G. in HBO's The Comeback, but Barber has always maintained his rich background in theatre, crediting the Barn for his start.

Stephen Lynch

Stephen Lynch

Stephen's journey as a musician, actor, and comedian began with his early performances at the Barn Theatre. This foundation nurtured his unique blend of musical and comedic talents. He has since released several successful albums and performed at prestigious venues like the House of Blues and the Kennedy Center. Lynch often reflects on his Barn Theatre days, as the spark for his multifaceted career.

Eric Petersen

Eric Petersen

Eric’s versatile acting career, spanning television and Broadway, has its roots in the Barn Theatre. Having performed in 21 Barn Shows, Petersen credits this experience for shaping his craft. He has gone on to appear in shows like Kevin Can F** Himself* on AMC and voice characters in animated series. His Broadway credits include leading roles in School of Rock and Shrek: The Musical, achievements he traces back to his formative years at the Barn.

Robert Newman

Robert Newman

Robert's enduring relationship with the Barn Theatre began in 1981 when he was an apprentice, receiving his Equity card that season. This early start propelled him to a successful career, including his recent Daytime Emmy nomination for his 2022 portrayal of Ashland Locke in The Young and the Restless. He is perhaps best known for his 28-year run as Joshua Lewis on Guiding Light, which earned him two Daytime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. Newman remains a favorite Guest Star at the Barn, happily returning to where his journey began.
