Joe is very happy to return to the Barn and help celebrate the theatre's 70th anniversary season! He has a long and prolific history here: during 27 summer seasons he appeared in 167 plays and musicals, directed or co-directed 19 shows as well as created and costarred in 9 preseason cabarets of Music, Music, Music at the Rehearsal Shed Lounge. Memorable roles over the years include Bialystock in THE PRODUCERS, McMurphy in CUCKOO'S NEST, Arthur in CAMELOT, Gallimard in M. BUTTERFLY, Albin/ZaZa in LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, Oscar in THE ODD COUPLE, Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and Valmont in LES LIASONS DANGEREUSES. SHE LOVES ME with Marin Mazzie, SWEENEY TODD with Tom Wopat, LOST IN YONKERS with Kim Zimmer and THE MOST HAPPY FELLA with Giorgio Tozzi are just a few of his directing credits. Joe lives in New York City where he is Vice President/Director of Sales for Match-Tix, one of Broadway and off Broadway's leading group sales agencies. He dedicates this performance to Barn Theatre founders, Jack and Betty Ragotzy. Happy 70th Season!

As a performer, Scott has appeared in the Broadway and First National tour productions of TITANIC and was recently part of the concert staging at New York’s Avery Fisher Hall. The past two holiday seasons he was in his own play, HO HO HUMBUG, at the Stark Naked Theatre in Houston, Texas. Originally from Michigan he got his Equity card and worked for 25 seasons here at the Barn. Shows here include SWEENEY TODD, GREATER TUNA, A TUNA CHRISTMAS, SHE LOVES ME, ROCKY HORROR, HAIR, FIDDLER, A FEW GOOD MEN, and many, many others. He also has performed locally at the Farmers Alley Theatre in Kalamazoo in productions of PARADE, GOD OF CARNAGE, THE 39 STEPS, PLAID TIDINGS and A CATERED AFFAIR. He also worked for several seasons at Florida Studio Theatre in Sarasota where he was in 3 POSTCARDS, PRELUDE TO A KISS, THE ROBBER BRIDEGROOM, EXECUTION OF JUSTICE, THE WONDER YEARS, BLUE PLATE SPECIAL and NO WAY TO TREAT A LADY. As a cabaret performer Scott created with his writing partner Paul Loesel two original shows, LOVE SONGS AND OTHER CRAP (MAC nominated) and HAIRLESS AND RIPPED which played at Don’t’Tell Mama and The Firebird. Scott and Paul also performed an evening of their material at the Kennedy Center and Scott is featured on their debut CD, A SORTA LOVE SONG on the Sh-K-Boom label. Their musical THE EXTRAORDINARY ORDINARY played off Broadway at the Clurman Theatre in NYC and their musical LMNOP has had recent productions at the Norma Terris Theatre, as part of the Goodspeed Theatre’s new works program in Connecticut and as part of the TUTS Underground Series in Houston, Texas. Jasmine has appeared as Christmas Eve in the national tour commercial of AVENUE Q and is ecstatic to finally play the role in her debut at the Barn! Jasmine has performed in over 20 regional musicals and also a National/China tour of Cathy Rigby’s PETER PAN as Tiger Lily. Favorite credits include: Celine Dion’s A New Day, the World Music Awards, and singing with Dion on the “The Tonight Show,” dancing with Elton John and Train. Recent credits: Ugly Sweater Movie, jumping out of a tiger cage in Masters of Illusions, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and appearing with Todrick Hall on MTV. She has also toured to Canada in Dream World Cirque, and represented the U.S. leading a parade in Hong Kong for Chinese New Year. Jasmine performs her ukulele-and-burlesque show at Hollywood’s Laugh Factory, dances in Bollywood Step Dance Troupe (“My Fair Wedding,” “Cupcake Wars”) and ballet with City Ballet of Los Angeles. Michael is beyond thrilled to be making his debut at the Barn Theatre and to play a dream role! He hails from New York City and holds a BFA fro Mars Hill University. Michael currently works on the American Queen Steamboat cruising the Mississippi River as a lead Vocalist and dancer, and could have recently been seen as the Store Manager in the National tour of ELF: THE MUSICAL. His favorite credits include: DREAMGIRLS (CC White), PARADE (Jim), GUYS AND DOLLS (Nicely Johnson), AIDA (Mereb), SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD (Man 1), SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE (Victor), HAIRSPRAY (Duane), Utmost thanks to family and friends for their endless love and support.

We are happy to welcome Jim to the Barn family in his directorial debut! Jim most recently directed a production of THE NINA VARIATIONS at the Brick Theatre in NYC. Previously he worked at Vermont Stage where he directed productions of PHOTOGRAPH 51, MIDWIVES, UNDERNEATH THE LINTEL, and Lisa Kron’s WELL. In New York, he has worked with the noted playwright Cusi Cram on the world premiere of her first play, LANDLOCKED. He has also directed Jeremy Lawrence in LONELY MAN’S HABIT at the Cell Theatre. Jim was the recipient of the prestigious Boris Sagal Fellowship at Williamstown Theatre Festival in 1996, where he directed a number of projects and a full-length production of Shakespeare’s THE TEMPEST. He also assisted Nicholas Martin on his production of THE ROYAL FAMILY with Blythe Danner and Victor Garber.

Robin is thrilled to be back at the Barn!  He last played Horace Vandergelder in HELLO, DOLLY! opposite Kim Zimmer and since then has been to Florida, where he played Captain Hook in PETER PAN.  In New York, he appeared in the U.S. premiere of the Olivier Award-winning play, COLLABORATORS.  Robin has played numerous roles at the Barn, notably Higgins in MY FAIR LADY, the Top Banana in SUGAR BABIES, and the Narrator in BLOOD BROTHERS (also opposite Kim Zimmer).  He has also appeared on Broadway in THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS and the original cast of BLOOD BROTHERS; in the National Tours of MY FAIR LADY, BUDDY:  THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY, and JEKYLL & HYDE; and off-Broadway in PERFECT CRIME, TWELFTH NIGHT, MINOR DEMONS, SHE LOVES ME, ROMEO AND JULIET, BILLY BISHOP GOES TO WAR, and others.  His work in feature films includes Mel Brooks’ To Be, Or Not To Be, the classic Hot Dog! The Movie, and the recent independent features Homecoming and Soldier’s Heart; and he has made guest appearances on such television shows as Law and Order: Criminal Intent, Third Watch, Cosby, M*A*S*H, Dallas, House Calls, Quincy, M.E., and Guiding Light.  Robin has worked regionally at The Goodspeed Opera House, Actors Theatre of Louisville, The Cincinnati Playhouse In The Park, The Hartford Stage Company, and the Seattle Repertory Theatre, among others.  www.robinhaynes.com

We are thrilled to welcome Shinnerrie back to the Barn stage! Audiences will surely remember her from her hysterical portrayal as Oda Mae Brown in last year’s production of GHOST THE MUSICAL as well as from our 2015 production of THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS in which she portrayed Jewel. A graduate of Oberlin Conservatory of Music and the University of Tennessee, Shinnerrie has been acting since the age of 6. Favorite roles include Blues Singer in ONE NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN, Esther in INTIMATE APPAREL, Gary Coleman in AVENUE Q, and AIN'T I A WOMAN, a one woman show about heroines of African American history.

Jay is thrilled to be making his “Barnie” debut in this landmark 70th Season. A native of Huntsville, AL and proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association, Jay holds degrees in Music Business/Vocal Perf. from Christian liberal arts college, Lee University in Cleveland, TN. He, his wife Megan, and son are based in Lancaster Co., PA. There, Jay and Megan coach area professional actors vocal and performance techniques. Jay regularly continues his own performance study through masterclasses with leading Broadway and music industry composers/vocalists (Stephen Schwartz, John Bucchino, Jason Robert Brown, Shoshana Bean, Sheri Sanders, and Jonathan Reid Gealt (a Barnie!). Most recently, Jay has been seen treading the boards in Central PA (Sight & Sound Theatre, PRiMA Theatre, Gretna Theatre, Media Theatre). Some of Jay’s favorite roles include: Father in CHILDREN OF EDEN, Freddie Trumper in CHESS, Dr. FrankNFurter in THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, The Emcee in CABARET, and Sam Spade in THE MALTESE FALCON (Eastern Premier), and lastly, originating the role of Moses in MOSES (Sight & Sound Theatre) logging over 450 performances. In May 2016, Jay was a lead vocalist in Defying Gravity, a concert with Broadway composer and legend, Stephen Schwartz. Jay would like to offer many thanks to Barnie alum, Courtney Ell-Suders for her encouragement and support…and to Megan for her unending love and support along our path together. Lastly, Jay dedicates this run to those – and the families of those – lost in the recent tragedy at in Orlando. “Love, is love, is love, is love…”
